  We serve individuals and businesses in the Baltimore City/County, areas. 


DAYS/HOURS:

*All by Appointment through phone call*


*Monday - Thursday: 10 a.m.- 6:30 p.m.

*Friday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

*Sunday: CLOSED


FEES:

* $8 per stamp

* $8 Acknowledgement

$8 Jurats

$8 Verbal Oath/Affirmation

($4 for Witness signatures that need to be notarized)


TRAVEL FEE:

 Maryland allows Notaries to charge  67.5 cents per mile.
*Mileage rate change in accordance with the IRS rate*. 

plus a flat fee of $5 for travel.

  1. Identify the specific
  2. document(s) that require notarization. Ensure that all relevant sections are completed accurately, please do not sign the document(s) until you are in the presence of the notary.


 2. Verify Notary's Credentials: 

  Before the appointment, verify  

the notary's credentials to ensure 

that they are legitimate and an

authorized notary public. 


3.  Identification: 

Bring valid and government-issued photo identification with you to the appointment. 

ID is required. Digital IDs are NOT accepted, only physical IDs are accepted.


4. Familiarize yourself with the document's content and purpose. 

Please contact the appropriate person or organization who supplied the document if there are questions about the document.


 5. Determine whether your document requires witnesses in addition to notarization. Be sure that they bring identification.

  6. Call to Schedule a specific date time for the notary appointment that suits your schedule.   


  7.  Ensure you have the original, complete, and unsigned document(s) that require

notarization. 

Bring any additional copies that 

may be needed for your records or the recipient of the notarized document.


8. Receive a quoted fees for your notary appointment.


**Currently CL Brown Notary Service  accepts cash and Square.**


 9. Please inform the notary public if you have specific instructions or requirements related to the notarization.


10. The notary with witness your signature being written on the document(s).


11. The notary may ask you questions to verify your understanding of the document and your willingness to sign it willingly. Be ready to respond to any relevant inquiries.
